THANK YOU FOR A GREAT 2024 EVENT WEEKEND!

"Catholic Athletes for Christ, the Holy Spirit, and a team effort directed by Mike Hoendorf brought about an incredible weekend of sportsmanship, faith, and new friendships at the baseball showcase. The highlight of the evening dinner for me was listening to former Padre’s pitcher Craig Stammen sharing his inspiring journey and then being able to meet and speak with him personally afterwards. As a priest, it was an honor to give a heartfelt blessing to the players and coaches, uniting faith and sport in a truly special way."

"I loved opening the season like this, I think it is the perfect way to open the season. Seeing the players interact in such a positive way, and reflecting on how putting one's Faith in God takes away pressure and allows you to live in the moment and enjoy it more were my biggest takeaways. Anything we can do to help these young men grow in their relationship with God and their faith is worth it. We need more strong Christian men in the world."

 "I think the most memorable moment of the weekend for me was the Friday dinner and having the kids sit together. Then the prayer over all of the players right before they left, was great!"  

 "I liked the speaker Friday night and the experience to meet players from the other teams that we sat with at dinner. I learned the mission is bring Christ into everything we do like baseball and everyday things. I really enjoyed staying with my friends as a team."
